  6. I agree, I agree. Bitching is counter-productive. And of course NewTek wants
  7. to ship product and make money as soon as possible. They have every right to
  8. that, but they appear to have one set of dates internally while they feed us
  9. something entirely different. Even though they've cheesed us off innumerable
  10. times, we'll always come back to them in this abusive cycle of a
  11. relationship. What makes it so frustrating and perverse is that Tim & Co.
  12. must know this and expect it. And yet, LightWave is a fantastic program! So
  13. no matter how furious I am at NewTek, no matter how I scream and curse, I'll
  14. still buy their stuff and be grateful when they trickle out that latest
  15. release, months overdue. Isn't that twisted? But what I really don't
  16. understand are the repeated lies. How long did they expect anyone to believe
  17. this "two weeks" nonsense? Once or twice, it might be legitimate, but over
  18. and over again? These days, I simply treat all their release dates as made
  19. up numbers. They may as well be throwng darts at a calendar. What I would
  20. really welcome is a simple and direct "Look guys, we know your pain, but
  21. it's gonna be around six months" or whatever. How honest, how refreshing!
  22. That may not be what I want to hear, but I'd rather have it if it's the truth.

  24. My poor whiny hurt feelings aside though, NewTek just can't seem to stop
  25. shooting themselves in the foot. And when they empty the clip, they load in
  26. another one and start firing away all over again. Ow! Ow! Ow!
